Affidavit and court order preparation
When drafting orders for court it is imperative that correct terminology is utilised when referring to the various digital storage devices possibly involved in the matter. One omission or ambiguity can mean the difference between obtaining devices containing critical evidence sought after, and the obtaining of irrelevant devices (with nothing useful on them). Sometimes there is no further opportunity granted by the court.
Forensic examination reports are often accompanied by at least a brief affidavit, referring to an expert’s qualifications and experience, and s177 expert statement.
When working in conjunction with legal counsel we assist in the preparation of affidavits and orders. In other cases we fully prepare necessary affidavits.
